supported deeply

Hi, I’m Bailee (she/her), and I’m glad you’re here. I provide individual therapy for women in Kansas City, offering a compassionate, down-to-earth space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported- just as you are. Whether you’re navigating self-doubt, anxiety, trauma, or the challenges of life and chronic illness, you don’t have to do it alone. Together, we’ll work toward greater nervous system balance, self-worth, and a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling

01 my approach

Healing is a deeply personal journey, and your process will be as unique as you are. I believe in creating a space that feels safe, compassionate, and judgment-free. A space where you do not have to perform, explain away your feelings, or fit into someone else’s idea of healing. My role is not to fix you but to help you reconnect with the parts of yourself that already know how to heal.

I work with women who have spent much of their lives trying to be good enough while secretly feeling like they are too much. Many of my clients come in feeling anxious, disconnected from their bodies, and stuck in patterns of people-pleasing, burnout, and self-doubt. Some are also navigating the chronic stress of illness or trauma, trying to understand why their bodies feel like they are constantly on edge or shut down. Together, we slow down and explore the wisdom underneath those patterns and the ways your body and nervous system have learned to keep you safe, even when those strategies no longer serve you.

My work draws from attachment-focused, trauma-informed, and strength-based approaches to meet you exactly where you are. I integrate experiential and somatic practices to help us move beyond talk therapy and include the body and nervous system in the healing process. Using modalities such as Somatic Experiencing and EMDR with a somatic lens, we gently uncover what has been held in the body and create space for regulation, safety, and connection.

At the heart of this work is relationship built on trust, curiosity, and genuine connection. Therapy with me is collaborative, warm, and deeply human. Together, we build awareness, soften survival strategies that no longer serve you, and reconnect you with your inner strength and sense of aliveness. My hope is that through this process, you begin to feel more grounded, empowered, and at home in your body and your life.

About

02 about me

IMG_0967.HEIC

With over six years of experience supporting children, families, and young adults, I bring a grounded, relational, and body-centered approach to therapy. Before starting my private practice, I worked in community and school-based settings, which taught me the importance of meeting people where they are and understanding how environment, family systems, and early experiences shape who we become.

I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL and am currently completing advanced training in Somatic Experiencing, a body-based trauma modality that helps restore regulation and safety in the nervous system. I am also trained in Somatic EMDR which allows work that supports deeper healing for trauma, attachment wounds, and chronic illness.

My work is shaped by my own belief that healing is not about fixing what is broken but reconnecting with what has always been whole.

I currently see clients at KC Well Co. under the supervision of Jessica Nickels, LPC.

Individual Counseling

Step into your own strength.

Step into a space where you can explore your feelings, reconnect with your body, and make sense of the patterns that have shaped your life. I work with women who want to feel more grounded, confident, and connected to themselves and others. Whether you are navigating anxiety, self-doubt, chronic illness, or the effects of trauma, our work will focus on helping you express yourself with clarity, make choices from self-trust, and build a gentler, more compassionate relationship with yourself.

I offer 50-minute sessions at a rate of $100.

I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. Some benefits of paying privately include greater privacy and flexibility in how we work together. If you have out-of-network benefits, I’m happy to provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. I can also accept both Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).

I also reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots to help make therapy more financially accessible. If cost is a concern, we can talk about this option during our free initial consultation

Let's Connect

Finding the right therapist is an important part of the healing process. That’s why I offer a free 15-minute virtual consultation—to give us both a chance to see if we’re a good fit. If you're interested in scheduling a consult, feel free to fill out my contact form, or click here to request a time that works for you. I look forward to hearing from you!
